Beniyutaka Shidare (枝垂 紅豊, Shidare Beniyutaka) is the manager of the local convenience store that recently opened across from Shikada Dagashi and the older brother of Hotaru Shidare.

Beniyutaka is a handsome young man with dark-blue hair that has bangs swept on either side and dark-purple eyes (from up close).
He wears a gray striped suit, a black button shirt, a white tie and brown shoes.

Beni is a great gentleman and brother to Hotaru Shidare.

Kokonotsu Shikada[]
Beni considers Kokonotsu virtuous and his rival, after he comments on how the stores overpriced cakes wouldn't sell, and recommended selling dagashi aimed at children and adults who would easily buy them.

- The name Beniyutaka means "crimson, deep red" (紅) (beni) and "abundant, plenty, lush" (豊) (yutaka).
- Beniyutaka's surname Shidare means "weeping" (枝垂).
